Who We Are

We are the professional firefighters who proudly serve and protect the residents and visitors of the North Greece Fire District. Organized in 1998, we were chartered with the International Association of Firefighters as Local 3827.

Our District is approximately 21 square miles in size, consisting primarily of residential areas with some commercial occupancies and agricultural lands as well.

We utilize three stations to protect the District. Our members proudly staff Engine 273, located at 645 North Greece Road, Engine 274, located at 1766 Latta Road, and Truck 270, located at 2030 English Road. Our companies also provide addition coverage to the Monroe County Fire Bureau's Hazardous Materials unit (Haz Mat 8) located at 1766 Latta Road, as well as personnel for Rescue Task Forces and Special Operations based within Monroe County and capable of responding outside of the county when necessary.

Our personnel respond to nearly 4,000 calls for service annually, ranging from emergency medical services, motor vehicle accidents, fumes, structural fires, animal rescues, and so many more.

President's Message

The North Greece Professional Firefighters respond day in and day out to the residents and visitors of our great town without hesitation and with the public's safety as our greatest priority. When called upon, the countless hours of training for our members is put to the test and we understand what your expectations of us are when you called 911.

In the moments of crisis, no matter how big or small, our firefighter's stand ready to be at your side to protect you, your loved ones, and the pieces of your life that mean most. Our members strive to be some of the most highly trained firefighters around and to provide the most exceptional service there is.

Our efforts are not limited to our emergency responses as we work with a number of charitable organizations throughout the Rochester-area. We are truly honored and privileged to be a part of this community that we are sworn to protect.

As President, representing the fine men and women of this organization is a role I do not take lightly. The professionalism, values, and integrity of our firefighters is first class and something we are so proud of, and we truly appreciate the support from our community and our partners in emergency services.
